~Happily Ever After by Kiera Cass
I got the prince and the guard a while back, then I found out that Kiera Cass will have this book 'Happily Ever After' which has all the novellas, some extra scenes, POVS, and an extra epilogue to THE ONE...so obviously I was getting this book. <3 (purchased on amazon)

I've been wanting to read it since I first saw it, but I was skeptical. I didn't know if it was good or not...but I own it!

Running out of IDEAS!

8- to make movies that are 6 hours long that have every detail in the book in the movie. (make sense?)

9- to make Mina, Brody, Teague/Jared, and Nan to come to life . . . duddddeeeee goals.

10- Super Power to actually go inside of the book and live as the main character...like the train in the Splintered series! you can go inside the characters mind! that'd be so COOOL!

Which Affinity are you?

Okay, so over at the goodreads Air Awakens fan group they/we are figuring out what affinity we are! here's the link . . . click this!!!

I honestly don't know what to write here so I am just winging it and hoping for the best! if you know, Air Awakens has recently been out! and it is an AMAZING story! (*whispers* you should read it). There are FOUR affinities,
WindWalker
FireBearer
WaterRunner
GroundBreaker
and I myself have dubbed myself as Windwalker, and I even to the quiz, click here, and I got windwalker! yay!

Now, let's get to the rest!

I have not read Fire Falling yet, but it will be out soon! and I can't wait...but I chose Wind Walker because, Vhalla Yarl is awesome and I want to be her...too weird? naw? okay.
Also, I took the quiz -- linked above -- and got Windwalker. But another reason I chose Windwalker is because it'd be really cool to control wind and stuff. But I would also like to be a FireBearer . . .

what would you do for the day if you your magical ability?

What wouldn't I do? I would attempt flying . . . because if you control wind you can make it push you upwards. BOOM, instant flying. but Flying would be the first thing I'd try to do! I have never been on a plane, so flying would be my biggest step up from a car . . . or a train. I'm imagining this like how peter pan flew

I would 'attempt' flying, I would want to make it really windy also, and make a huge storm! But no lighting I'd be terrified of getting electricuted. . . but If I control wind, I could avoid them but using the wind to push it, am I making sense or is this just me babbling in my 'no-one-understands-me-language'? but I would do that.
But flying around seems like it'd get old quickly because I'd be lonely. So, I would go somewhere. Where will I go you ask? I will go to all my favorite authors houses . . . what do you mean that's creepy?--I already have this scheduled, I'm sorry. XD
But I would love to visit Authors with my windwalking ability. Elise first! aha. I would then visit a country I've never been too, Canada, etc etc.
I've been thinking about this, and now that I am typing my mind is blank and nothing wants to come to me, so for now this is all! I wouldn't be trusted with magical abilities. I'd probably become evil or something . . . or something XD

BUT! Let's end it with, me going to all my internet friends and bringing them all to a HUGE hotel and we can all meet, because I've never met any of my Internet besties and who wouldn't? Hopefully they still like me when I become--or something.

I hope you like my blob of a mess above! and go join the AA fan group on goodreads to join this! click the link to the quiz to find out your affinity, and lastly, go buy Air Awakens if you don't already have it!

Say hi to Elise for me too *Waves*

LL & A's Monthly Book Tag (OCTOBER)

Hey, Luvs
Got another Monthly Book Tag for you!
created by: Library Luv and I

Library Luv and I came up with this Idea back in June or July and it stuck with us, every month there is a new theme, and a new set of questions. The Questions will relate to the them, and the theme most likely will relate to a specific book, a genre, or a bunch of books. :D
To view the original tag click, here.

The Rules are simple, just have fun! and also be sure to tag either Library Luv or me on twitter or comment below the link so we can add you to the participants list!
Enjoy and have fun! <3

Can you guess what Octobers theme is?

○○○○○Halloween○○○○○

My Tag

1- What's one scary movie you would want to watch with a character from any book, also which character would it be?
I choose 'The Nightmare on Elm Street' I remember watching it when I was younger . . . terrifiied me. But I would want to watch it with Jenara from Splintered by A.G.Howard. she seems to be a perfect person to watch scary movies with/

2- If any book could have its own Halloween treat flavor, what would it be and which book would you choose?
For Air Awakens I would probably say, caramel. like those caramel popcorn balls.

3- which book setting would you choose as a theme for a halloween party?
In Unhinged there is the dance at the school . . . that one. That would be my halloween party theme.

4- What any two book characters would you want to attend a Halloween party with?
Vhalla from Air Awakens and The Little Mermaid from Drown.

5- What's your favorite Halloween movie?
does Monsters Inc. count?

6- Your favorite Halloween candy/snack to eat while reading?
Blue Raspberry ring pops. or suckers.

7- If you could go all out for Halloween what character/creature from any book would you want to be?
I would want to be a siren/mermaid . . . but the tail has to look real. I'm weird.

8- What do you think your favorite character would dress up as on Halloween?
I have tons of favorite characters but lets go with . . . harry Potter, I think he would dress up as a muggle! Just Kidding. I think he would dress up as Dumbledore.  or at least should.

9- Three books you want to read for Halloween?
my step sister owns this series so I'll say, Asylum by Madeleine Roux
then harry potter and then . . .
Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children by Ransom Riggs.

10- What's your favorite Horror novel?
I don't read horror often . . . so I'm going to go with the first Goosebumps.
No judging!

I hope you have fun with this! Anyone can do it!
if you do it remember to link back to Library Luv or me so we can link you below!
HAPPY READING, Luvs!

Guest Post by Cody Duffy

Hey Everyone!

I'm Cody and I'm a YA book blogger over at Literary-ly Obsessed.

Today I'm doing a guest post for Alexis so I'll be sharing a little about me and my blog and hopefully give y'all some advice that I've picked up along the way about blogging.

About Me

As I've said I'm a book blogger, I'm usually writing reviews, ranting about my favourite books and obviously obsessing over my collection of book boyfriends. Here are a few ways you can fine me:

I'm a ridiculously chatty person and easy to talk to, so feel free to say Hi!

The Throne of Glass series is my all time favourite series, I completely obsessed with everything Sarah J. Maas but these books are absolutely amazing and a must-have for fantasy lovers.

These have been some of my old and new favourites reads, they all take top spots on my bookshelves, I highly recommend any/all of these so definitely check them out!

As I'm now coming out of the newbie blogger category, I thought it was best to hopefully give some helpful advice about book blogging and how to make the most of it and to obviously enjoy it too.

Be yourself.

First off, blogging can be stressful! In the beginning when you're coming up with your blog name and trying to come up with concepts for blog posts, reviews and finding the time to read, you can easily become stressed and start to worry. So on top of all these worries the last thing you want to be doing is writing your posts to cater for someone else's tastes or what you think will get you the most views. Don't do this, this is your blog, post what you like and when you like!
It's your blog after all, so be yourself and have fun.

Be honest.

Reading and reviewing books won't always be a walk in the park, you're bound to come across a book that you don't like. Now this could be a book that everyone likes... who cares? The book didn't appeal to you and there's nothing you can do about that, definitely don't try to convince yourself the book was better than it was, sometimes you don't hit it off with popular books and that's okay- it happens to us all! Now I completely understand not wanting to 'trash' the book incase you fear of receiving bad feedback but you can always and say 'I wasn't able to connect with the book or characters', 'this just wasn't for me' and maybe mention a few things you did like about the book; if there were any or a few reasons why you didn't like it.

Read what you like.

You do not need to read and review every up and coming book release to have a great blog. This is the same for genres, never feel like you have to purchase certain books to have a wonderful blog. I find myself discovering old YA books and thinking how did I ever live without them? Sometimes this is the best thing ever because then I have a whole series to purchase all in one go and can avoid the year old wait.

Read.

Read - obviously! When when you can, in between school lessons, on your dinner breaks, before bed. It's almost impossible to schedule some quality reading time as life just gets in the way, so whenever you have a spare minute, have your book handy and read a few pages.

Schedule.

Scheduling your blog posts can be a life saver. It's best to get a head of your posts incase there are days when you're unable to read or don't have the time to fully review a book. Scheduling will definitely help in the long run with reviews and discussion topics.

Need help? Ask!

The book blogging community are extremely helpful and so nice and friendly. I've found some of my close friends through blogging as you have the best common interest - books! So if you ever find yourself stuck or would like to ask some question, then always ask.

Social Media.

Get yourself a social media account such as Twitter/Goodreads/Facebook. These will help you so much when it comes to 'selling your blog' and getting some followers. These will also help you keep up to date with bookish news that you can write about on your blog if you like. Also you get to speak to like minded people and gain friends, which is always a plus!

Have fun!

Lastly have fun. That's all, just enjoy reading and reviewing and connecting with fellow readers. As long as you enjoy blogging then you can do no wrong.

Thanks so much to Alexis for allowing me to do this guest post.
If you would like to view here's then head over to my blog!
